Connor Bedard's first two NHL games were the most-watched on ESPN and TNT. He became the third-youngest player in NHL history to have a four-point game and the youngest in Blackhawks history to score multiple goals in a game. Bedard finished the 2023-24 season with 22 goals and 61 points in 68 games, winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as rookie of the year. He was chosen to represent the Blackhawks at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game but, due to a broken jaw, could not play.
